I was a fan of the earlier Monster Hunters on the PSP. I remember getting 3 of my friends and going after fatalists and gold/pink rathalos'/rathian'. I have since sold my psp haven't really gotten back into the franchise.

It's the only reason why I bought the PSP. It gets somewhat repetitive but meh I still love it, they've added some new weapons since earlier versions i think.

I did love those games though, lol. I was probably the only reason I got a PSP, too. I remember trying to get my Eternal Schisms I had to get like 125 earth crystals (lol I can't remember what they're called) and I kept getting killed by a Gradios, I took my psp and kneed it and it broke, I had to buy a new psp.

Yeah, I head about these series - they are suppose to have a JACKload of hours of gameplay. (Newest one has 500+) Too many weapons to count, armour, lots of customization. Crazy.

Yeah, if you played the MHF2 version and the MHF version you can transfer over your characters over. I just got adhoc working yesterday so if anybody has it, it would be fun to play with others online.

You can transfer your damn characters over? Nice - saves a lot of time. ^.^ Maybe I should get into the series, I don't think I have a lot of time for it.
Has anyone completed any of the games yet?

There really isn't any storyline to it. It's completely free play. Though when you beat white fatalis it's pretty much unofficially considered beating the game.
